Jamie-Lee has made her home in Ketchikan since 2001 and her natural abilities have no doubt been enhanced by her immersion into the art and rich culture of her adopted home. Her work is characterized by brilliant colors and often the amalgamation of various life forms that combine both human and animal subjects.

Portraits, pet portraits, wild life, fantasy images and nursery room murals are among her most amazing works thus far in her young career. Her chosen mediums range from acrylics, water colors, oils, scratch art, textural multi source collages, sketching, sculpture and photography. She has also illustrated one children’s book, and has two more on the go. Music is another passion, as she enjoys singing and writing music with her guitarist husband.

Jamie’s inspiration sprouts from her family (husband Nick and infant daughter Cora Belle), her faith and of course the natural beauty and wild life of Ketchikan. She is never too far from her easel and canvas and is always open to new ideas for her next project or commissioned work.
