Art Works

102 Edgecliff Way
, Alaska 99901

After finishing school at Parsons School of Design and The Wendell Castle School, I was missing Southeast Alaska and ready to come home. Being torn between art and craft I chose to work in both discaplines. Focusing on furniture for some years I built a reputation and a portfolio of work.

After taking a hiatus to rebuild an old craftsman house and pining away for my paints I spent a year making landscape paintings. My inspiration for the paintings comes directely from our gorgeous Southeast landscape. Working for 12 years as a summer fishing guide allowed me to build a pictue file of our beautiful scenery. From those photos I create paintings that convey the beauty and hopefully express my love for this place.

Making art and designing furniture are my passions. I am not happy unless I am creating something. My goal is to spend my future doing exactly that, creating and sharing my work with all who chose to enjoy it.
